Easter Retreat: Tanzania, 9 – 15 April ‘09

Exotic bliss in an African paradise                                           costs & travel

Do you want to really get away from it all and be inspired by some of the most stunning scenery in East Africa?

Join us on our exclusive retreat at Ngare Sero; a beautiful traditional safari lodge set in lush gardens on the slopes of
Mt Meru, with the snows of Kilimanjaro as a splendid backdrop.

Breathe fresh clean mountain air and let our dynamic international team of teachers and therapists guide you through
a well-being programme guaranteed to relax, replenish and restore you on every level.

Our retreat will focus on opening and softening the body with daily yoga and tai chi classes, gentle nutritional cleansing with delicious stress-free food and re-balancing your energy with some exceptional therapies from India, Tibet, UK and Zanzibar.

Our Programme

Yoga and tai chi
We start our day with a tai chi class followed by a Scaravelli yoga class after which you can relax over a delicious breakfast. Each day you’ll learn and master something new, and by the end of the week you’ll have your own tai chi and yoga practice to take home with you.

Treatments
Bliss out with pampering spa treatments; re-balance with craniosacral therapy; work on your flexibility with deep Indian Chavutti massage or visit the Tibetan clinic for acupuncture, moxibustion, sound healing, osteopathy and manipulation work.

Food and nutrition
Using fresh food picked from the lodge gardens, the menus are carefully designed by our nutritionist using natural nutrition principles so your food is stress free, enabling your body to maximise the benefits of the yoga and treatments.

Workshops and more…
We will have workshops and cooking classes on some afternoons and end your day with a silent walk to a beautiful view point for sunset meditation.

Relaxation and exploring
During the day you can relax by the pool, take a sauna or enjoy the serenity and peace of private gardens. The surrounding fifty acres of forest are home to a wide array of exotic flora and fauna and a private crystal clear lake.
