Winter Retreat, Goa India, Feb 2008 - page 1                                   page 1 | page 2

I first found Reclaim Your Self when I was at quite a low point in my life, I had just started taking anti-depressants and had been thinking about going on a yoga type retreat holiday for a while. I was so glad I took the opportunity to go to Provence, and I am convinced it helped me to move forward in my life to get me where I am today - which is slowly reducing my medication with the aim to be free of the drugs in the near future.

The treatments I received touched me at such a deep level that I am not sure I can put into words the impact they had on me. The workshop particularly helped me focus on areas I wanted to improve on in my life and since September my self-confidence and my self belief have come on leaps and bounds - which I am convinced is as a direct result of the retreat.

I was then at such a different place in my life when I came onto the Goa retreat that I was unsure exactly what I wanted to gain from retreat number 2. I just knew that I wanted more of the same - of that feeling of being in a space where Jools and her team seem to instinctively know where to meet their clients.

Thank you Jools and your amazing team for another fantastic retreat - from the sumptuous villa (where the Bollywood elite hangout no less!) and the mouth watering delights that Lizzie conjured up for us, to your blissful ayurvedic facial that had me drifting in and out of a beautifully deep relaxed state.

I spent the week being utterly spoiled in delightful surroundings thanks to a combination of Helen's inspirational yoga classes, Ariel's intuitive healing hands and Stephen's dreamboard workshop. What really amazes me each time (this is my second retreat) is how the spirit of the retreat and the team always seem to meet me just where I am when I arrive, then takes me on a gentle journey of self discovery and drops me off feeling reclaimed, reinvigorated and looking forward to the next chapter in my life.
